Kyoto is a city in the central part of the Honshu, Japan, surrounded by different prefectures in Japan. Kyoto has four notable seasons divided into summer, fall, winter and spring. Weather brings in very hot summers and cold winters. Rain comes by particularly around June and July.
Kyoto takes pride in Iwai rice where some of the finest sakes are made from. Iwai rice is only sold for the purpose of making sake. Some of the sakes found in the region are the wide variety of Junmai Ginjo and Junmai Daiginjo. Sakes in Kyoto are known for their bittersweet aromas and intense flavors. Fushimi is a place in Kyoto that is known for its large production of sake. There are about 25 sake breweries you can find in Fushimi. Similarly, Chushojima is another place in Kyoto that is famous for its sake production. At some point, Chushojima has been considered as Japan’s sake capitol.

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is made from 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3.5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot, 0.5% Petit Verdot.
A wine of considerable charm, energy and finesse, 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is opaque ruby red in color, and opens with aromas of ripe cassis, blackberry, espresso and cedar. Although powerful below the surface, the wine is extremely focused and well-balanced, with silky tannins, ample freshness, and vibrant structure, that lead to a crescendo in the lengthy, polished finish.
Review:
Full-bodied with lots of layered fruit and round, creamy tannins. The palate shows lovely ripe-berry character with chocolate and hazelnut and a long, flavorful finish. Hints of black truffles. Plenty going on here with a firm framework that gives the wine form and interest. Try it after 2022.

Laird Chardonnay Cold Creek is 100% Chardonnay
Our Cold Creek Chardonnay is grown in the slightly cooler microclimate of the Sonoma side of the Los Carneros district to the west, where thick fog and cool marine winds protect its tender skins. Indigenous to the Burgundy region of France, Clones 15 and 95 at a 50:50 ratio exhibit an approachable style and luminous, golden color.
Tasting Notes: The appearance of golden straw leads you through an aromatic journey with notes of tropical fruits, sweet nectarine, melon, and vanilla. The wine has flavors of jasmine, citrus, and ripe Fuji apple that are complemented by a creamy mouthfeel and hints of lemon curd. The finish lingers on the palate, making you yearn for the next sip.
