Here at Hahn Family Wines, we’re proud to be a family-owned-and-operated winery. Our founders Nicky and Gaby Hahn first came to the Santa Lucia Highlands in the late 1970s, and the Swiss-born couple quickly recognized the region’s potential to produce wines of exceptional nuance and character, worthy of attention on the world stage.
Lucienne wines showcase the distinct characteristics of Pinot Noir from each of our Santa Lucia Highlands estate vineyards: Lone Oak, Doctor’s, Smith and Hook. The wines take their name from Santa Lucia, the namesake of the appellation and patron saint of light; her crown of candles graces the wine label. These vineyard-designated releases owe their singular nature to variations in climate, topography, and wind as well as an array of clonal selections. The wines are rich, nuanced expressions of the vineyards they come from.
Hahn Estate Lucienne Chardonnay Lone Oak Vineyard is made from 100 percent Chardonnay.
Reviews:
Lemon blossom, grapefruit rind, pastry flake and a hint of ash show on the nose of this single-vineyard expression from the Hahn family. It's suave and broad on the palate at first, then it chisels down to pinpoint acidity, delivering flavors of apricot, lime zest and chalk before the slightly nutty finish. Matt Kettmann

Wachau Riesling is dry and often defined by high levels of dry extract (due to a lengthy ripening period) and a pleasing freshness (due to dramatic temperature swings between day and night). Sedimentary soils of sand and stone give Kirchweg Riesling a dense mineral texture and fine fruity flavors.
Review:
I love the deep and delicate, peachy nose of this extremely attractive Wachau dry riesling. Wonderful fresh fruit with a touch of mint and lemon balm on the ripe but rather sleek and very precise palate. The power and concentration show themselves first at the stunningly long and pristine finish.
