PÁŠXA produces two single vineyard Grenache wines each year to show how expressive this variety is; Rockgarden and River Rock.  Rockgarden Grenache is concentrated and fruit-driven with intriguing spice notes, and a hoisin note on the palate.

"The very pretty and stony 2021 Pasxa ‘Rockgarden Estate’ Grenache is a great showing now at three years of age. What a beautiful nose with red rose petals, anise, orange peel, Umami and suggestions of smoldering stones. Pasxa Rockgarden White blend is 50% Marsanne and 50% Roussanne.

This wine feels rich yet weightless, it’s texturally complex and aromatically thrilling. Roussanne brings a compelling stone fruit and floral aroma and gives the body of the wine structure. Marsanne adds an orange blossom character and a subtle waxiness to the finish.

Patricia Raquin Bourgogne Rouge Fut de Chene is made of 100 percent Chardonnay. 

The animals shown on the label are dogs, from the breed called Borzoi, or "Russian Wolfhound", which means "fast" in Russian. Patricia and Alain Corcia are the proud owners of 2 Borzois and they designed the label to represent the dogs as the guardians of the vaulted ageing cellar inside their house.

The wine is produced from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on gravel and silt soils, aged in French oak barrels. Medium to full bodied, earthy, fruity and mineral. Structure and tannin on the finish. The wine pairs well with any hearty red meats and cheeses.

Patricia Raquin Nuits St. Georges les Vaucrains is made from 100 percent Pinot Noir.

"Vaucrains" comes from old French word meaning place with very little fertility (which is very good terroir for grape production)

Tasting Notes: Powerfull aromas with lots red wild fruits, full bodied wine with great aging potential.

VINEYARD: Gravel and Silt

HARVEST: Harvest by hand.

VINIFICATION: Harvest by hand. Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel. Pre-fermentation – temperature controlled cold maceration during 10 days. Long fermentation during which pigeages and pumping over are performed. Post-fermentation - maceration at 30°C for 5 days.

AGEING: Aged in new French oak barrels for 16 months.

The Santenay Santenay is coming from the Premier Cru called Beaurepaire. 

 Patrimony Caves des Lions is made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc.

 With an inky ruby color, the 2020 Caves des Lions offers elegant aromas of chocolate-covered espresso beans with nuanced layers of blueberries, savory notes of charcuterie, pipe tobacco, and woodsmoke. This festival of flavors continues on the palate with notes of fresh fruit, cayenne pepper, plum jam, and pomegranate. The bold tannins seamlessly balance the fresh and rounded acidity leading to an unwavering finish. This full-bodied and flawlessly intricate wine will surprise you now with its elegance, and later with its longevity.

The nose here is brilliantly red fruited, with layer upon layer of subtle spice, bright floral notes, herbs, and stone. Its not all poetry and pageantry, though, and the first impression of the wine was simply, “oh that’s goooood.” A fair assessment, and sometimes that it all one requires. Further tastes show fine tannin throughout, a juicy, vibrant mouthfeel that is very likeable, and deft, long-developing layers of fruit that reveal themselves severally.

"Glistening red. Vibrant red fruit, floral and spice scents show very good clarity that picks up subtle hints of succulent herbs and smoky minerals with air. Smooth, well-integrated tannins make a late appearance on a long, floral-tinged finish that shows no rough edges.

Alluring aromatics spill out of the glass, with scents of fresh-cut ripe strawberry, candied rose petal, cotton candy and bubble gum harmonizing together and inviting deeper inspection. In the mouth, the first sensation is one of volume and a cacophony of lush ripe fruit flavors, followed by a zingy, green apple acidity and a slight mouth-watering frizzante, the trademark of Patton Valley Rosé. One glass is never enough.

Patz & Hall Gaps Grown Pinot Noir is made from 100 percent Gap's Crown Pinot Noir. 

This vineyard sits high on a rock strewn, windswept hill directly overlooking the Petaluma Gap, the coastal mountain feature that feeds the cool Pacific air into the Russian River basin. Usually the last vineyard we pick each year, this extremely slow ripening site shows deeply fruity aromas of black cherry, plum, and cassis. Notes of sandalwood, moist fresh earth, and a faint waft of ocean spray define this wine as one of the most unique in our lineup. A crowd-pleasing richness is tempered by a fresh beam of mouthwatering acidity. Gap's Crown Vineyard is a very long-lived wine that rewards patient cellaring.

Classy forest floor, mulberry, black raspberry, spice, and incense notes emerge from the 2017 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown, a beautifully elegant, seamless, classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. This is a great vineyard.
